Massachusetts State Inspection Service
*******Greater Boston Motorsports Strongly Recommends that you call ahead to verify availability for Massachusetts State Motorcycle Inspection service. Massachusetts requires all inspections to be performed by a State Registered Inspector. Inspection hours are subject to inspector availability and are not the same as the dealership hours posted*****
Motorcycles must receive yearly safety inspections from specially licensed motorcycle inspection stations. When a motorcycle passes the inspection, a sticker should be affixed to its license plate. Motorcycle inspection stickers are valid until May 31 of the following year.
SNOWBLOWER SERVICE
All Makes and Models, $269.95 plus parts and tax
- Change engine oil
- Replace Spark Plug
- Drain fuel and replace with fresh fuel
- Lube and Adjust Cables, Pivot Points
- Check Function of Augers and Belt Tension
- Check and tighten all hardware
- Check and adjust skids and cutting edge
- Check and set correct tire pressure
- Check lights (if applicable)
Generator Service
Most Makes & Models, $59.95 plus parts and tax
- Change engine oil
- Replace Spark Plug
- Service Air Filter*
- Check Charging Output
- Service Battery (charge, load test, clean terminals, etc), if applicable
- Tighten All Hardware Clean Generator
*Replacement of air filter, parts cost is additional
Annual Motorcycle Service – $490 (LABOR ONLY)
Most Makes & Models, excluding BMW
- Change Engine Oil and Filter
- Flush and Bleed Brake Fluid
- Change Oil in Rear Drive, If Applicable
- Flush Radiator, Change Coolant
- Service Battery (Charge, Load Test, Clean Terminals, etc)
- Adjust and Lube Drive Chain, If Applicable
- Check Condition of Tires, Adjust Tire Pressure
- Check and Adjust Tire Pressures
- Visual Inspection of All Safety Related Items:
- Check Fork Tubes and Oil Seals
- Condition of Brake Pads, Brake Discs, Brake Calipers and/or Brake Drums
- Horn Operation
- Light Function – Headlight, Tail Light, Brake Light and Directional’s
- All Hoses and Lines
- Inspect Rear Shock
- Recommendations
- Road Test
- Wash Motorcycle
